The Federal Account Manager - is responsible for contributing to sales growth of the Federal market and business throughout the world through new agency acquisition, customer retention and growth opportunities with the current agency install base. The region is federal worldwide.


  • Be in contact daily with current and prospective federal customers, creating, identifying, and managing opportunities and up-selling current accounts
  • Solicit new business opportunities across the federal government market by direct outbound efforts and leveraging and supporting channel partner activities
  • Support all federal sales needs as outlined by the regional Vice President of Sales
  • Work closely with the entire organization and channel partner ecosystem to drive growth in the market


  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the networking Industry
  • Cloud and/or SDN fluency is a plus
  • At least 5 years of Federal sales experience
  • College degree required
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across an organization
  • Must have strong presentation and communication skills
  • Should live in the greater Washington DC, VA/MD area
