The Channel Marketing Manager (CMM) will serve as the marketing prime for the planning, building and running and measurement of specific partner marketing plans.  The CMM functions as the key liaison between Cradlepoint and business partners in building demand generation programs targeting various segments.  The role includes identifying, creating, and executing compelling targeted plans and network solutions by positioning Cradlepoint products and services to, through & with our service and solution provider partners in a way that grows our mutual business.  The position reports to the Vice President, Channel Marketing.


(Ideal location is East coast)



  • Provides marketing strategy and plan building expertise with the specific goal of aligning with the Cradlepoint channel sales and partner teams accomplishing mutually defined demand generation goals.
  • Contribute to development and execution of a combined Cradlepoint and Partner Enterprise Marketing Strategy, aligning and integrating Cradlepoint’s solutions marketing approach with related sales and channels program efforts.
  • Understanding of demand creation techniques and the ability to identify opportunities for partner revenue acceleration.
  • Applicable Enterprise coverage for this position includes broad enterprise vertically focused initiatives such as IoT, mobile, branch, public sector, financial services, health care, and other key verticals.  
  • Plan, build and run co-marketing plans with key partners targeting the enterprise market, often with special emphasis on vertically focused activities.
  • Propose, influence, adapt and help deliver corporate marketing programs and activities to help generate leads, promote joint program awareness and influence partner SEs, sales, and other influencing groups and/or end customers.
  • Assist in the design of and implementation of programs to grab market share from competition





  • Understanding of regional networking market; carrier, channel and enterprise.
  • Experience building co-marketing journey based and integrated campaigns with partners.
  • Broad marketing experience and proven track record of success. 
  • Experience using social, online, and traditional marketing principles and techniques.
  • Revenue marketing, driving funnel conversions, and metric focused executions are key skills.
  • Understanding of network products, network services and enterprise network solutions marketplace.
  • Good interpersonal and project and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communications skills.
  • Prior experience in the telecommunications business arena specifically working with channel partners.

  • Self-directed with initiative to cover responsibilities proactively rather than wait for actions; enthusiastic; able to deal with and clarify unknowns or ambiguity. 
  • Strategic thinker and planning abilities to move partner away from random acts of marketing and to more strategic execution of longer term plans.
  • Ability to identify Cradlepoint's business objectives and to lead execution.
  • Strong interest in technology as applied to making enterprise business more successful by overcoming technology challenges, including, the ability to identify and explain technology differentiators and their impact.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in diverse teams, e.g. with Sales,Product Marketing, Product Management, marketing communications organizations.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in layman’s terms.



  • Bachelor degree required. Master's degree business administration a plus.
  • 5-7 years experience within the network equipment and technology products and/or services marketplace. 
  • Experience with marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Eloqua, Structured Web, etc. a big plus.
  • Strong business and market analysis skills. 
  • References pointing to you as a strong collaborator, focused on results, and working hard towards mutual success. 
  • Must reside in desired geographic region and willing to travel to partner sites up to 50% of the month.
