  • Overview

    The successful candidate will join the Cradlepoint Infrastructure and Security team as a compliance auditor and technical writer. As a technical writer, this person will primarily be responsible for developing, organizing and maintaining company policy and procedure documents; including supporting other organizations with technical writing opportunities. In addition, this person will own the audit processes and reporting for Cradlepoint to maintain PCI-DSS, U.S. and International privacy law compliance.

    Responsibilities


    • Perform audits necessary to meet PCI-DSS, U.S. and international privacy law requirements

    • Help audit and manage hardware and device central inventory

    • Plan, develop, organize, write and edit company policies, processes, procedures and manuals

    • Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals

    • Plan, develop and conduct Associate education and training focused on policy, processes and procedures

    • Maintain a comprehensive library of terminology and documentation 

    • Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content

    • Manage updates and revisions to literature

    Qualifications


    • Proven experience working in a technical writing position 

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

    • Expert Proficiency in MS Office 

    • Strong attention to detail 

    • Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences 

    • Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking

    • Experience with PCI-DSS and Privacy Law (U.S. and international) requirements.

    • Experience conducting and documenting audits 


    Bonus skills:


    • Experience with FedRamp, NIST, and ISO 27000 certifications

    • Familiarity with electronic audit and testing tools, like MetaGeek, to detect rouge AP’s and evaluate network health
