  • Overview

    The Salesforce QA engineer will perform all Salesforce QA activities like create test plan, test case, test scripts, bugs, will run bug triages, and produce bug metrics and different QA reports. The person should have experience in automation and skills to write automation scripts. The candidate should know testing processes in Salesforce (SFDC) platform and across its sandbox environments. The Salesforce QA engineer may work in multiple project work streams, the person will represent the Salesforce QA team in strategic planning discussions, advocate Salesforce QA best practices and guidelines to business and technical stakeholders. 

    Responsibilities

    • Define end to end testing process and methods in Salesforce environment including cross system integrations across multiple work streams
    • Define automated regression testing process and framework, including UI, back end, Salesforce components and integrations
    • Define and coordinate application load and performance testing across testers and Salesforce team
    • Research and find opportunities to utilize SFDC QA best practices, guidelines to improve system productivity, scaling and monitoring
    • Define and report daily, weekly and other QA metrics
    • Communicate the value and ROI of QA activities, including test automation

     

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field or 5 + years in Quality Assurance role
    • Professional experience in a test-driven and formal QA development environment, including development/staging/production (or similar) deployment cycles
    • 1+ years of experience in Salesforce CRM
    • Certified Salesforce.com Administrator (ADM-201) or equivalent experience
    • In-depth understanding of Salesforce capabilities and constraints coupled with good understanding of general business processes
    • Experience in distributed cross-continent load and performance testing
    • Demonstrative success with implementing at least one large Salesforce.com project
    • Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes (like white box, black box, and automation methodologies)
    • Good communication skills; the ability to explain and present details to both technical and business audiences
    • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
