    Product Owner Position Summary:

    Cradlepoint is looking to expand its Product Management organization. The Product Owner will play a critical role working with the Cradlepoint R&D Team in developing products and solutions in an Agile development model. Working with engineers on a daily basis to quickly define, build, test and iterate on customer facing features delivered through Cradlepoint’s NetCloud platform. This position will be located at our headquarters in Boise, Idaho.


    What Does a Product Owner Do?

    • In an agile team, a Product owner acts like a stakeholder and project manager simultaneously
    • A visionary who has developed planning skills, is proven as competent product owner
    • Product owner ensures to give ample room for the development to do their work as their input is valued by the development team
    • Introduces the cutting-edge features of the product
    • Is well aware of the phases of development
    • Shares and communicates their feedback effectively so that it will lead the team to the success path
    • Understands, how to be Agile and realizes the fact that requirements will change with time and how to adapt the changes without breaking cadence of the team
    • Be Present in daily Scrum and Retrospective meetings, apart from required presence in sprint review meeting
    • Understands Cradlepoint’s customers and represents them in solution delivery


    • Helps define new initiatives and ensures solution solves the customer use case (functionality, usability, and consistency)
    • Clearly communicates the Business Requirements from a customer centric view to the initiative team and provides constant feedback and clarity
    • Distills product requirements into actionable user stories
    • Prioritize the work in the Initiative team’s Backlog before Sprint
    • Lead Sprint Planning and Retrospective meetings
    • Lead daily scrum meeting
    • Becomes a SME in their initiative’s value, use cases, and related customer problem
    • Performs “happy path” testing during the initiative development
    • Trains Support, Sales, and Marketing on initiative
    • Provide market content input and schedule details for feature launch
    • Monitors market trends and gathers feedback from stakeholders and customers
    • Build and maintain a relationship with the stakeholders


    • 5+ years of relevant product experience in software and/or hardware technology
    • Experience delivering products in an Agile development environment in areas that is oriented to platform or SaaS delivery of features/functions
    • Ability to write product requirements in the form of user stories
    • Strong ability to understand both technical details and practical business use of applications
    • Must demonstrate strategic thinking and thought leadership, as well as ability to lead initiatives through implementation
    • Exceptional analytical reasoning skills
    • Critical thinking skills to make intelligent and defendable decisions in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Fast executor, self-starter
    • Bachelor’s Degree required
