    Reporting directly to the VP, Global Sales Operations, you will serve in a critical leadership role across Cradlepoint to scale our Sales Operations function as we grow into the next phase of our business. Candidate will own all sales system processes, tools, and data integrity related to our sales processes within SFDC. A deep understanding and work experience in Salesforce.com is essential. A thorough understanding of enterprise selling processes and experience with SaaS are strongly preferred.

     

    Roles charter is as follows:

    • Process - define, optimize, educate, train and enforce the process for the customer journey, from top of the funnel through onboarding. This includes handoffs from leads to sales, opportunity stages within Salesforce, handoff between sales and Customer Success
    • Define and document sales policies, processes, procedures, and system requirements; work with cross-functional teams on ongoing change management as business priorities evolve
    • Directly support the sales team in regularly identifying gaps and opportunities to evolve and define new processes to maximize productivity and efficiency Analysis - Develop analysis and decision support around revenue forecasting, pipeline analysis, and for specific deals
    • Manage Deal Desk processes; own improvement projects to drive strategic sales and increase margins. Review pricing requests and provide deal analysis to leadership
    • Proactively perform data exploration on customer data to identify operational insights; assist with ad hoc analyses, other business operations, sales, marketing, customer success data driven projects
    • Systems - Own end-user administration, data management and adoption of Sales efficiency tools: understand system requirements alongside IS, Compliance, and other functional stakeholders. Develop, document and deliver education and training; measure adoption / productivity impact of Sales tools
    • Work with IS team to maintain and enhance our CRM system. Implement and communicate new processes and updates to team members. Work with internal IS on prioritization requests
      Prepare reports and dashboards

    Responsibilities

    • 7+ Years of Sales Operations Experience (with at least 2 years in a leadership role)
    • You should have working knowledge of deal cycles, complex software deal structures as well as experience with SaaS and commonly used SaaS metrics
    • Stay current on new features of Salesforce application to ensure company is utilizing the application as effectively as possible
    • Working with internal IT Address and resolve Salesforce system issues/bug fixes, and feature releases
    • Oversight of the daily administration and support of Salesforce.com including but not limited to managing users, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validation rules
    • Experience proactively monitoring sales process quality and identifying opportunities for improvement
    • Drive continuously improving data hygiene and management, list/contact management, account management, and system-to-system integrations
    • Serve as the main point of contact for IS, fielding Sales user requests/questions; documenting, consolidating and helping to prioritize Sales system requirements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred
    • 5+ years’ experience in Sales Operations and Sales Force Administration
    • Salesforce professional certifications and experience with related systems, such as Marketo, Gamification Tools, Artificial Intelligence Tools
    • Familiarity with SQL and data query / visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
    • Work may require occasional overnight travel and weekend and/or evening work
