Overview

Cradlepoint is seeking an innovative, results-oriented Alliance & Carrier Marketing Manager to serve as the primary marketing point of contact for the Cradlepoint Technology Alliances Partner program as well as assisting Cradlepoint's Carrier Team in marketing collaboration with Network Operators. This role will help drive integrated marketing plans, enablement and demand-generation programs with strategic business partners in order to help the company exceed current and future growth targets.  This position reports to the Director of Channel Marketing and Sales Enablement.

 

The ideal candidate has an equal passion for business development, marketing and program execution coupled with a familiarity of the information technology business.  The candidate will also exhibit exceptional executive presence, be able to flex to an evolving environment and exhibit emotional maturity. This candidate will also have experience in building strategic partnerships, creating customized and integrated marketing programs from scratch and skillfully collaborating with internal and external teams to bring the programs to life.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary marketing liaison for the Cradlepoint Technology Alliances Partner program (TAP)
  • Design and develop integrated marketing plans with top tier technology partnerships, with the goal of driving pipeline and revenue growth, while leveraging existing Cradlepoint marketing teams’ expertise and programs
  • Collaborate with Cradlepoint’s various marketing teams to execute upon said marketing plans. Such collaboration and alignment will result in the candidate’s ability to deliver the TAP Program marketing benefits, such as:
  • Joint marketing plans including value proposition, messaging and PR strategy that aligns with Cradlepoint’s marketing strategy and messaging
  • Event participation that supports and enhances Cradlepoint’s event strategy
  • Demand generation and promotional campaigns that serve to leverage existing demand gen expertise and programmatic approaches
  • A cadence of alliance communications and coordination of communications with Cradlepoint’s enablement teams
  • Assets and training for alliance, Cradlepoint and Channel sales and technical teams that is cohesive and inclusive of Cradlepoint’s organizational learning and enablement strategy
  • Assist with marketing program design and execution with our Carrier Team and their Carrier constituents with deliverables such as:
    • Carrier- and Customer-facing events
    • Joint Carrier/Cradlepoint marketing, such as campaigns, webinars, etc.
    • Ongoing communications coordination (e.g. newsletters, internal case studies and the like)
  • Engage and coordinate with Product Marketing, Sales Enablement and Channel Marketing and Enablement to ensure launch activities include sales, carrier, channel and alliance partner enablement activities and support
  • Manage and report upon quarterly metrics for partner marketing initiatives and resulting influence on sales pipeline
  • Manage and stay within quarterly alliance marketing budget and related Marketing Development Funds
  • Manage consistent communications on plan, successes, challenges with all key stakeholders.
  • Prepare and give marketing reviews to senior and executive management, partner stakeholders and business development teams

Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of marketing experience in a fast-paced B2B environment, preferable in the IT industry, including at least 2 to 3 years of channel or alliance experience with demonstrated success delivering marketing plans with key business partners, at scale. Cellular communications knowledge a plus.
  • Proven ability to ideate, design, execute and track integrated, customized marketing strategies and programs with key business partners
  • Ability to develop and deliver messaging, presentations and communications to a variety of audiences, adapting delivery styles and methods
  • Experience using a CRM and marketing-integrated tools such as Marketo and/or a PRM
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Ability to work with and present to senior executives
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana or Microsoft Teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales or Business required
