Cradlepoint is expanding its Product Management organization. The Technical Product Owner plays a critical role working with the Cradlepoint R&D Team in developing products and solutions. Working with engineers and stakeholders on a daily basis to quickly define, build, test and iterate on customer facing features delivered through Cradlepoint’s NetCloud platform. This key role drives velocity internally and delivers value externally to the marketplace. It is a dynamic position that understands our customers, partners, business, along with internal teams and processes to ensure what we build provides product value and solves customer problems while deliverying interatively with innovation, consistency, and teamwork. 

Responsibilities

As a Technical Product Owner you leverage your understanding of networking, SD-WAN, cloud technologies, wireless WAN, LTE, Cradlepoint services, and customer pain points combined with your project management, product management, and agile development skills to introduce cutting edge product features with Engineering that make a direct impact on the success of Cradlepoint.

• Is a visionary and defines new initiatives and ensures solution solves the customer use case (functionality, usability, and consistency)

• Acts like a stakeholder, project manager, and represent's the voice of the customer simultaneously while working with engineering to deliver easy to use solutions

• Is well aware and understand of the phases of development

• Clearly communicates the technical and business requirements from a customer centric view in the form of user cases and provides constant feedback and clarity

• Uncover and understands customer technical needs then translates them into requirements and distills them into actionable stories

• Understands, how to be flexible and realizes the fact that requirements will change with time and how to adapt the changes without breaking cadence of the agile team

• Shares and communicates feedback effectively so that it will lead the team to the success path

• Prioritizes team’s sprint backlog, participates in sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, sprint review, and retrospective meetings

• Understands Cradlepoint’s customers and represents them in solution delivery

• Is a technical evangelist and business subject matter expert in their initiative’s value, use cases, and related customer problems in order to train support, sales, and marketing

• Works with marketing to ensure successful initiative launch by provide input on launch content and schedule

• Monitors market trends and gathers feedback from stakeholders and customers

• Builds and maintain a relationships with stakeholders

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant product experience in networking, software, and/or hardware technology
• Experience or technical knowledge of networking, cellular, SD-WAN, cloud, Wi-Fi, VPNs, LTE, 5G, Wireless WAN, AI, ML, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Small Data, Network Security, User Experience, Analytics/Visualization, or As-a-Service delivery model
• Experience delivering products in an agile development environment
• Experience with networking, troubleshooting, IT security, SaaS, or Cloud Platforms
• Understands and speaks the networking language (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, Lantency, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
• Ability to write product requirements in the form of user stories
• Strong ability to understand both technical details and practical business use of applications
• Must demonstrate strategic thinking and thought leadership, as well as ability to lead initiatives through implementation
• Exceptional analytical reasoning skills
• Critical thinking skills to make intelligent and defendable decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Fast executor, self-starter
• Travel: Ability to travel to Boise,ID up to 20%, if not located in Boise or Silicon Valley
• Location: Boise, Los Gatos, or remote (if remote be in a location with a direct flight to Boise)
• Bachelor’s Degree required
