Cradlepoint’s R&D team is looking for a seasoned and accomplished engineering leader with experience in Network Security Technologies to fill a technical leadership position. You will work with a group of extremely high-performing and innovative Engineers who design, implement, and support world-class end-to-end solutions for Cloud-managed Wireless WAN edge infrastructure utilizing SD-WAN principles. This position will be instrumental in delivering the next generation of SD-WWAN for Cradlepoint endpoint devices. Boise, ID or Los Gatos, CA are preferred. Remote candidates also considered. • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications
• 5+ years of people management skills including managing managers
• Experience with managing teams across multiple geographies
• Strong domain expertise in security, networking and cloud
• Experience with building and operating large scale distributed systems
• Experience with SD-WAN and Network Security services e.g. firewall, IPS/IDS, DLP, WAF, WSG
• Deep understanding of branch routing, VPNs, WAN optimization, TCP/SSL Termination, HTTP/2 Proxy
• The technical capacity to dive into the different parts of the stack encompassing the frontend and backend
• Flexibility to travel between Boise, Bangalore and Los Gatos
• Demonstrated track record of success
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
