Overview

Commerce Product Owner is visionary who takes on the role of a stakeholder and project manager simultaneously that is eager to deliver high-value capabilities. You will lead cross-functional teams and drive velocity internally to deliver value in the form of external features and internal automation. This is a dynamic position that understands our customers, partners and business model, along with internal teams, systems and processes to ensure what we build provides product value and solves business problems.

  • Product owner equally values input from all cross functional team members as that of the stakeholder to ensure the best solution is put forward.
  • Introduces the cutting-edge features and solutions.
  • Agile ceremonies and the phases of development are second nature.Shares and communicates their feedback effectively.
  • Understands, how to be agile and realizes the fact that requirements will change with time and how to adapt the changes without breaking cadence of the team.
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories and epics to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with the Commerce and Product organization’s strategy
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Understands Cradlepoint’s customers and represents them in solution delivery

Responsibilities

  • Helps define new initiatives and ensures the solution solves the customer use case (functionality, usability, and consistency)
  • Clearly communicates the Business Requirements from a customer centric view to the initiative team and provides constant feedback and clarity
  • Distills product requirements into actionable user stories
  • Prioritize the work in the Initiative team’s Backlog before Sprint
  • Lead Sprint Planning and Retrospective meetings
  • Lead daily scrum meeting
  • Becomes a SME in their initiative’s value, use cases, and related customer problem
  • Bring evidence-based decision-making to your communication
  • Be a ruthless prioritizer while balancing the needs of the business and stakeholders
  • Performs “happy path” testing during the initiative development
  • Trains Support, Sales, and Marketing on initiative
  • Provide market content input and schedule details for feature launch
  • Build and maintain a relationship with the stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 5+ years Product Owner experience in software and/or hardware technology in an Agile development environment
  • Strong ability to understand both technical details and practical business use of applications
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and thought leadership, as well as ability to lead initiatives through implementation
  • Technical Knowledge of networking or cellular a plus but not required
  • Critical thinking skills to make intelligent and defendable decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Fast executor, self-starter
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
