Overview

Cradlepoint is seeking a Senior Regulatory Program Manager to be responsible for driving international expansion of Cradlepoint products. Cradlepoint has a broad portfolio of products with international demand; this role will challenge the succesful candidate to help Cradlepoint grow and meet our aggressive targets. This market includes in-vehicle networks and mobile LTE- and 5G-enabled routers, distributed enterprise branch LTE- and 5G-enabled routers, LTE/5G failover devices, and LTE/5G IoT products. Cradlepoint is the global leader in cloud-delivered and LTE-enabled networks solutions for connecting people, places and things. The company provides its customers with the pathway from 4G LTE to game-changing technologies like Gigabit LTE and 5G, and it is positioned at the intersection of Enterprise SD-WAN, IoT/M2M and Security markets.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the regulatory, safety, and environmental compliance program team lead for multiple hardware development projects, including global regulatory activity planning, tracking, and regular reporting
• Develops methods and metrics for continual process improvement to support Cradlepoint's world-wide growth and expansion
• Works directly and indirectly with overseas ODMs to ensure compliance programs are understood and executed efficiently
• Global regulatory activity planning, tracking, and reporting
• Is trusted as regulatory subject matter expert and advisor to senior CP management
• Tracks all regulatory activities in progress and in planning
• Clearly communicates issues, problems, and escalations to key stakeholders, management, and team members
• Ensures developing product specifications will meet future regulatory requirements at time of launch
• Keeps all Cradlepoint publicly available regulatory content up-to-date with latest regulatory approvals
• Keeps knowledge level current with changing industry regulations
• Ensures all regulatory activity is understood and planned to prevent delays in product availability and launch

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Design, Industrial, etc.)
• 10+ years of work experience managing RF, EMC, and/or Environmental compliance projects for World-Wide deployments
• Networking or RF regulatory experience preferred, including co-location of radios
• Demonstrated proficiency in end-to-end regulatory compliance for commercial and/or industrial products, including FCC/IC/CE/RCM/IMDA/ICASA/NOM/SIRIM/JATE certifications
• Understanding of domestic and international safety certifications such as UL/CB
• Understanding of domestic and international environmental compliance such as RoHS, Prop 65, and REACH
• Ability to manage multiple regulatory programs in parallel
• Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders and describe regulatory issues/requirements in clear, concise language
• High attention to detail; ensures regulatory programs meet targeted delivery dates
