We are looking for a Network Software Engineer to join our team of engineers in building the next phase of 5G based network solutions as a service. This engineer will be strategic around planning, documenting, designing, and implementing networking solutions that are high in quality, scalability, security, and ease of use. 

• Design, implement, and test network service and network security software built into both embedded cellular endpoints and SaaS applications in the cloud
• Help build enterprise networking as a service that will connect customers’ remote locations to their private data located in the cloud or in datacenters (or a mixture of both)
• Help build enterprise software that use zero trust security, hardware accelerated VPNs, and user experience optimized cellular 5g WAN connections
• Build out system and unit tests for testing scalability and performance of VPN software designed to run in the cloud, or on hardware
• Design and build API-first microservices for orchestrating and monitoring network services
• Design and implement security functionality in network devices such as DPI, network app identification, IPS/IDS, DNS filtering, and next generation firewalls

• B.S or M.S in Computer Science or related or equivalent experience
• 10 years or more professional experience in software engineering with proven experience in designing and implementing features related to computer networking, network security, or network orchestration such as SDWAN, wan optimization, IPS/IDS
• Deep experience in object-oriented languages like C#, Java, Python or others and lower level languages like C or C++
• Experience with Linux networking stack including packet flow, iptables, route tables, policy routing, packet capturing tools like tcpdump or wireshark
• Experience with docker containers, and Linux virtualization (KVM)
• Experience in building and using internet protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP and routing protocols like BGP and OSPF and VPN technologies like IPSec, OpenVPN, Wireguard
