Overview

Field & Channel Marketing Manager, Australia role works cross-functionally in region, aligning closely with the sales and channel sales organization to ensure the marketing strategy and execution plans align with the region’s priorities and key objectives. In Australia, this role will drive messaging, evangelize the benefits of the channel program, promote channel events, and ultimately lead country marketing efforts that drive dynamic growth of pipeline in region.

 

Cradlepoint is seeking an innovative, results-oriented Field & Channel Marketing Program Manager to be the marketing programs lead in the Australian region. This ground-floor role is diverse with responsibilities for demand, partner and awareness programs that are critical to supporting our International Expansion efforts and executing on the regions priorities.

Responsibilities

Responsiblities include support for demand generation, partner marketing and awareness/PR programs in the region.

 

Reporting into the VP of Partner Marketing and dotted line reporting to in-reqion marketing or country manager.

 

  • Develop, socialize and publish country marketing plan that articulates all marketing programs impacting the region.
  • Meet regularly with internal leaders and teams to understand regional priorities as it relates to products, solutions, verticals and campaigns.
  • Met regularly with partners in region to understand their business objectives and priorities in region.
  • Design and execute joint marketing plans with those partners that support regional priorities.
  • Gain an understanding of the corporate demand generation plans in place for your region (executed by DG team at HQ) and coordinate the other marketing activities with it to drive additional impact.
  • When needed, leverage corporate marketing campaigns and customize for local use case.
  • Support PR efforts as needed which includes potential oversite of in-region PR agency.
  • Drive additional communications needed in region to sales and partners.
  • Support national partner events by promoting in region and driving any regional activities at those events (ie - regional dinners or activities).
  • Schedule and run Australian partner events with support of partner events team (ie - run Beers and Gears program in country) Coordinate local creation and management of incentive programs for channel partners, coordinated thru HQ.
  • Support enablement of channel partners.
  • Be the main POC for marketing questions and requests in region.
  • Manage reporting for in region marketing programs.
  • Assess results of programs and overall to determine changes to plans moving forward.
  • Update marketing plan and publish results regularly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technology marketing and/or partner marketing
  • Familiar with a variety of Marketing concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      
  • Experience in the Australian technology market.  
  • Basic understanding of PR and how it works in conjunction with larger marketing initiatives
  • Experience working with channel partners
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and a strong sense of accountability
  • Strong understanding of networking and selling in a B2B environment
  • Proactive, self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, while communicating regularly to HQ teams
  • Creative mind and track record of developing successful marketing programs
  • Excellent project management skills and able to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced team.
  • Professional presence and communications skills
  • Must have strong analytical skills with extreme proficiency in managing regional marketing plans
  • Experience with Salesforce and Marketo
  • Experience with Impartner PRM
