Cradlepoint is actively seeking a Tax Senior to join the accounting team and to play an intergral role in all the tax compliance and reporting processes of a fast-paced dynamic growth company. The Tax Senior will support the management of Cradlepoint's direct and indirect taxes and international project based work to advance Cradlepoint's global tax strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in tax adivsory assignments and will be offered the oppotunity to work on a wide variety of projects. This position will be located in Boise, Idaho, or a remote location within an adjacent time zone.

• Responsible for the development and documentation of standard work procedures for direct/indirect tax compliance and financial reporting
• The preparation and review of workpapers required for federal, state/local income tax and franchise tax returns
• Maintain accurate financial records, including but not limited to, balance sheet account reconciliations, documentation of all cash paid for taxes, journal entry support and appropriate detail for ad hoc analysis
• Performing, documenting, summarizing, and reviewing research conclusions regarding specific tax issues
• Prepare and record general ledger journal entries
• Lead the sales and use tax automation process
• Cooridanate with outside tax consultants on numerous projects
• Assit with existing and future foreign VAT filings
• Review ancillary tax returns for the company including, annual business licenses, property taxes and associated compliance for all entities

• Bachelors degree in accounting and a minimum of 3 years of relevant, professional experience
• CPA License required
• At least three years of tax experience in public Accounting and/or industry
• Big 4 accounting experience preferred
• Desire to learn multiple tax areas
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot and adapt to system or procedural changes as they arise
• Ability to interpret and apply technical tax and financial reporting requirements
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Excellent tax technical research and communication skills
• Experience with CSC Corptax
• Strong attention to detail with consistent accuracy
• Willingness to assist Accounting/finance teams as needed
