Overview

The Sales Enablement Program Manager will lead the implementation of a variety of programs designed to increase efficiency and improve effectiveness of the Cradlepoint sales force. The core responsibilities of the Sales Enablement Program Manager are to align to the global sales enablement strategy and deliver onboarding and readiness programs to the global sales team. This role will help to conceive, develop, produce and deliver an overall onboarding program which may include a comprehensive new hire training program, a mentoring program and similarly structured initiatives designed to enable a newly hired sales professional to enter the sales force as an effective, educated team member or manager. Additional key responsibilities include creating content, developing curriculum, implementing a continuing education program and delivering a variety of sales team communications to further develop the expertise and capabilities of all sales members’ hard and soft skills. This role will help the sales team improve productivity and quota attainment by improving sales onboarding, sales training and development, asset management and communications. These tactics will improve alignment and team cohesion, resulting in better performance and improved sales results.

Responsibilities

  • Help to evolve, develop and deliver an overall onboarding framework to include the production and delivery of the new hire sales training as well as emerging tools and processes
  • Serve as lead Sales Trainer for both remote and live sales trainings
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of a continuing education curriculum for sales and sales management
  • Assist in the creation of sales-related content and assets and/or leverage existing assets to improve effectiveness of customer conversations, and efficiency of sales processes
  • Create, utilize and drive adoption of structured distribution methods of communication, content and assets Interface with the internal training and LMS teams, as well as key stakeholders across the sales organization and contributing business units
  • Develop and drive strategies in areas of content deployment, learning effectiveness and sales force KPIs, with a focus on utilizing modern tools and applications
  • Communicate frequently and effectively with sales and sales management to ensure that effective onboarding and ongoing enablement programs are being designed and delivered in order to build a confident, successful direct and partner sales organization
  • Managing, monitoring, assessing and evaluating designated programs and their effectiveness

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years experience in identifying, implementing and training sales on various tools, applications and best practices which support company processes and improve sales rep productivity including hard and soft skills development
  • Experience in multiple sales platforms, selling methodologies and approaches
  • Experience in all facets of training program development and delivery, with an ability to assess sales training needs and develop training plans aligned with corporate strategy
  • Exceptional presentation and training skills with experience teaching and developing adult learning programs
  • Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to collaborate across a variety of business units and navigate within various sales organizations
  • Solid business acumen and understanding of key financial metrics and high tech go to market models
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required; MS, MBA preferred
