Cradlepoint is actively seeking an Associate Partner Manager to join our team with a focus on finding and selling to new Managed Service Providers (MSPs) in the USA. This role will be focused on growing 4G/5G/PLTE failover and networking/SD-WAN business. The candidate will need to coordinate with the senior account manager covering each region of the US, build a sales plan within each of the regions to target and grow new MSPs, and grow the business substantially. Role will have significant cold-calling, hunting, and building new relationships. Location can be in any major city in the US. This role will be a development role ideally built for an exceptional salesperson with significant inside sales experience who is looking for the ability to move to external sales. Training and skill building will be included with very high expectations for growth. Cradlepoint is the #1 provider of 4G and 5G solutions to the MSP ecosystems. This is a key position in Cradlepoint to dramatically affect the growth of Cradlepoint and wireless WAN networking across the industry.


  • Build Cradlepoint business practice at new managed service providers so they include Cradlepoint as part of their offering
  • Hunt for new MSPs to build Cradlepoint practice
  • Increase mind share and sales at all target accounts
  • Build a sales plan supporting senior sales rep in each territory
  • Report on sales activities, programs, and revenue progress by each account (weekly forecast accuracy required)
  • Determine most effective way to leverage extended team to create the largest ROI
  • Visit (post COVID) and train new or non-managed MSPs and be the sales contact for those MSPs until we can drive enough business to hire additional sales people 
  • Build goals and plans for sales team and measure those goals for the team and executive management
  • Meet with MSP leadership, and MSP sales team to drive mindshare and programs around Cradlepoint offerings
  • Ensure that the sales strategy results in a differentiated and competitive solution for the intended target markets
  • Embrace a solution-driven approach to ensure we deliver the easiest and most friction-free sales model
  • Be or become a Sales Expert in LTE, SD-WAN, Network security, and networking technologies
  • Collect and synthesize input from all MSPs and deliver a simplified message to product teams and executive management on ways we can improve product, sales processes, support and operations
  • Prioritize between long and short term challenges, problems and opportunities based on ROI and business rationale to drive sales priorities


  • 3+ years of relevant inside sales experience (or equivalent customer experience)
  • Knowledge of 4G LTE, and SD-WAN is a plus
  • Strong ability to understand both technical details and practical business application of how enterprises want to use different networking and connectivity solutions
  • Must demonstrate strategic thinking and thought leadership, as well as ability to lead initiatives through implementation
  • Exceptional analytical reasoning skills
  • Critical thinking skills to make intelligent and defendable decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills including ability to persuasively deliver presentations to senior executives, partners and customers
  • Fast executor, self-starter
  • Travel (Post Covid): Typically: 20% with periods of higher or lower travel amounts- Also depends on city of hire
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) or significant amount of relevant experience (enough to offset degree) required
