Overview

Manage the Cradlepoint relationship with a Tier One Distributor. Manage performance to a defined set of KPI and SLA metrics. Drive mindshare of internal and external distribution reps, insuring reps are educated, motivated and engaged. Provide word class support to our distributors and reseller partners; opening net-new revenue opportunities through various initiatives. As at key component to the companies Go-to-market, distribution is integral in enabling Cradlepoint to meet our financial goals. Join a team that drives new partner recruitment, onboarding, enablement and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with the key “go to” contacts
  • Train and motivate distribution sales, marketing, operations and business development resources to drive and facilitate Cradlepoint solution sales
  • Work to develop and implement a growth centric business plan with continual process improvement
  • Communicate policy, process, solution and promotion updates effectively
  • Partner with reseller and Cradlepoint teams; facilitate individual opportunity closure and delivery 
  • Provide highly visible presence; “walking the floor”
  • Drive net-new business development initiatives
  • Complete process improvement projects

Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge of the two-tier technology distribution and reseller sales process
  • Ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of both the networking (router) and mobility (4/5G cellular data) space
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience (Min. 4yrs. working for or supporting distribution)
  • Bachelors degree (or higher) in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Analytically driven, demonstrated ability as a creative problem solver, with high energy and a strong sense of urgency
  • Comfortable with change and a bit of ambiguity that is part of a hyper-growth company
  • Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation, customer service, business and negotiation skills
  • Strong project management capability
  • Balance of analytic/process and relationship/people skills (a sales professional that is not afraid of pivot tables and not ready to get your hands dirty executing)
  • Ability to travel up to ~20% of the time
  • Must reside in or around Buffalo, NY
